Bargaining

Four collective agreements — Health Science Professionals, Community Social Services, Community Health, and Nurses — are set to expire on March 31, 2025. In preparation, HSA members across BC began the bargaining process in the fall of 2024.

Members were invited to bargaining-related chapter meetings. At those meetings, members of your chapter discussed and voted on bargaining proposals submitted by members like you. Proposals that were supported by members of your chapter were forwarded for discussion by elected delegates at the Bargaining Proposal Conferences, where delegates also elected members to sit on the negotiating committees.

Bargaining Proposal Conferences 2024

All members were invited to submit their ideas to improve our contracts, and these ideas were discussed in fall 2024 at bargaining proposal conferences. Talk to your steward to learn how you can get involved, or read more about the bargaining proposal conferences.
