Each fall, HSA holds Regional Meetings in all ten HSA Regions. These meetings are an excellent forum for HSA members to review the issues and activities of the past year.
All members are welcome to attend Regional Meetings, but only official and elected delegates have the right to vote at the meeting and to receive wage replacement to take time off from work to participate.
Individual chapter delegate entitlement will be posted 60 days in advance of the meeting date and can be accessed by stewards in the Portal.
Nominations for HSPBA Bargaining Proposal Conference Delegate Status
In 2024, Regional Meeting delegates covered by the HSPBA Collective Agreement will also elect regional representatives to the HSPBA Bargaining Proposal Conference November 5 to 8, 2024 in the Lower Mainland, to set priorities for 2025 HSPBA contract negotiations. All members in good standing covered by the HSPBA collective agreement interested in being a delegate to the HSA HSPBA Bargaining Proposal Conference (HSPBA BPC) may nominate themselves in writing with a written expression of interest of up to 250 words to @email no later than one week prior to their Regional Meeting. The deadlines are listed below. You do not need to be a delegate to the Regional Meeting to put your name forward for the HSA HSPBA Bargaining Proposal Conference.
Representatives to all other bargaining association Bargaining Proposal Conferences (CSSBA, CBA, and NBA) are elected at the chapter level.
