HSA is pleased to once again host our members serving as OHS Stewards, JOHS committee reps, as well as Lead and General stewards from across the province for the biennial HSA OHS conference.  This year’s conference will be held February 8 and 9 at the Hyatt Regency in Vancouver.

The theme of this year’s conference is OHS EXPOSED. This reflects the reality facing today’s workers in Health Care and Community Social Services.  Workers today are exposed to violence, exposed to substances, exposed to ergonomic hazards, and exposed to physical and psychological hazards and risks.  The union OHS team is often the first involved when these situations happen.

The 2024 Conference will feature presentations from safety leaders and practitioners from across Canada, with the goal of helping you understand and enhance your practice.

Registration for the conference will open November 1st, 2023, and can be completed through the HSA webpage.
