2024 Young Workers Forum - Squamish

We want you to join us for our October 18th Young Workers Forum

This will be our first time hosting this annual event in Squamish, BC!

Register by Midnight on Wednesday, October 2nd!

Are you an HSA member and 35 or younger? 
Want to help promote awareness of young workers' issues in your union?

Join us at the Totem Hall in Squamish on Friday, October 18th for a day of introductions, discussion, learning and planning to support action on the various challenges we face as young people in the workplace. 

Topics will include, but aren't limited to: 
•    HSA Young Workers Committee (YWC): Learn about the committee's history, purpose, objectives and goals
•    Break Out Groups: Get to know other HSA young workers and share your stories and experiences 
•    Young Worker Issues: Discuss the issues that matter most to you
•    Transform your Ideas into Action: Provide input for your 2024/25 Young Workers Committee 
•    2024 Core Engagement Team: Hear from other members about how they became more involved in our campaign to support public health care by voting in the October 19th Provincial Election
•    Guest Speakers: TBA

HSA is working towards equity and encourages people who experience marginalization (including but not limited to Indigenous Peoples, people of the global majority, women, people with disabilities, 2SLGBTQIA+ and diverse faiths) to apply for opportunities within HSA.
