June Workshop Series: June 18 2025
In response to member interest in learning more about Palestine and Israel, HSA is offering a workshop series in June to provide information and an opportunity to learn about the history of the region and gain a better understanding of how antisemitism and Islamophobia are present in our society.
These workshops are intended to provide a variety of views and perspectives for individuals to consider in addition to their own research and personal experiences.
June 18th – Anti-Islamophobia 101 Workshop 7 – 8:30 pm Pacific Time
This virtual workshop explores the realities of Islamophobia in Canadian society, shedding light on its impact and how it marginalizes diverse Muslim communities, including Black, Indigenous, queer Muslims, and Muslims with disabilities. Together, we'll build critical awareness and learn how to be active allies in countering Islamophobia. www.daretobeaware.ca
