Invitation Only for PHSA OHS Stewards & JOSH Representatives

TIME:              9 am to 4:30 pm workshop, 1.5 hours for lunch
LOCATION:    Virtual – WebEx

HSA Occupational Health and Safety stewards and HSA representatives on workplace joint health and safety committees support their colleagues at work as well as required by legislation at all worksites.  HSA is offering a 1-day OHS Steward Introduction for select PHSA OHS Stewards.

 Workshop content includes: roles, rights and responsibilities of safety stewards and joint occupational health and safety representatives.  Participants will learn about the role of the Workers' Compensation Board, occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, incident investigations and worksite inspections.

 Participants will receive wage replacement, and pre-approved dependent care costs for virtual workshops in accordance with HSA Policy.  Please note, no meal per diems will be provided.
