Convention 2022 deprecated

HSA's 2022 Convention will take place in-person on April 28 to 30, 2022 in Vancouver. However, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the union’s Board of Directors will monitor the situation and may shift to an online convention format over the same three days. The last two annual conventions, in November 2020 and June 2021, as well as Bargaining Proposal Conferences in October and November 2021, were all conducted online. 

The 2022 HSA Annual Convention will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Vancouver in downtown Vancouver beginning with the Convention Plenary at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 28. The Convention will be called to order on Friday, April 29 @ 8:30 am and adjourn on Saturday, April 30 @ 4:00 pm.

Important Dates
  • Tuesday, February 15:  Online Registration opens
  • Friday, February 18 @ midnight:  Deadline for submission of Resolutions to Convention
  • Friday, March 25 @ midnight:  Deadline for online registration
  • Thursday, April 28:  Pre-Convention Plenary and Regional Meetings
  • Friday, April 29:  HSA Convention

  • Saturday, April 30: HSA Convention

Delegate Entitlement

The delegate entitlement for each chapter to the 2022 Convention is  available to stewards by logging into the Steward Portal.

    • Submission of Resolutions

      A Call for Resolutions to the HSA Convention has been sent to all chief stewards. The deadline for receipt of resolutions in the office is Friday, February 18, 2022 @ midnight. To ensure your chapter resolutions are forwarded to convention, please submit resolutions before the final deadline as late resolutions are not considered.

      Stewards can log into the Steward Portal where they will find a memo outlining the process for submitting resolutions to HSA's Annual Convention. Resolutions may be submitted on behalf of the chapter by the chief steward using an online form available on the Steward Portal
