- Health Sciences Association | Disability Management (hsabc.org) - HSA has worked to develop the Enhanced Disability Management Program (EDMP), an employee-centred, proactive, and customized disability management program for employees with both occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries.
- Supports and services for people with disabilities - Province of British Columbia (gov.bc.ca) – Compilation of programs and services available to you if you are living with a disability in BC.
- DABC (disabilityalliancebc.org) – Disability Alliance BC champion’s issues impacting the lives of people with disabilities through direct services, community partnerships, advocacy, research and publications.
- Chronically Queer - Chronically Queer (CQ) is for 2SLGBTQIA+ people who are neurodivergent, mad, crip, chronically ill, and/or disabled. CQ recognizes that disability is an umbrella term that includes, but is not limited to: physical, sensory, senses, respiratory, cognitive, mental health, learning, temporary, episodic, invisible/non-evident, self-diagnosed, and more.
JOIN
- HSA Members with Disabilities Caucus - All HSA members who identify as living with a disability and/or are disabled are invited to attend meetings of HSA's Members with Disabilities Caucus. The caucus is an open space for members to connect, share issues, build solidarity, and organize to make the union more accessible.
- Accessibility Workers | bcfed.ca – BCFed’s caucus represents workers who identify as people with disabilities. This group is a caucus of the BC Federation of Labour and serves as a place for workers with disabilities to network, and to discuss issues of focus for people living and working with disabilities.
