2010 Run for the Cure: Register today for Team HSA
This years annual Run for the Cure, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation's most important fundraiser, is Sunday October 3.
HSA has supported the run since 1997, and is one of three regional sponsors of the Run for the Cure. At every step from diagnosis to treatment and recovery, highly trained health science professionals use their expertise to help breast cancer patients.
The union urges HSA members and others to join the HSA team to run or walk for the cure October 3.
This year in BC, the run will be held in Abbotsford, West Kootenay / Castlegar, Golden, Kamloops, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Port McNeill, Prince George, Vancouver, Vernon, and Victoria. Team HSA members can participate in any community: if there is no official Run scheduled for your town, HSA encourages you to hold your own event.
Five HSA cash prizes ... ranging from $100 to $300 ... will be awarded to team members raising the most money.

THINK PINK WEEK September 13-17: To prepare for the run and to raise awareness of the crucial role HSAs health science professionals play in the diagnosis, treatment, and recovery of breast cancer patients, HSAs Run for the Cure committee encourages members to participate in Think Pink Week.
