2023 HSA Annual Convention set for April 19-21; Deadline for resolutions is February 3, 2023

HSA’s 52nd annual convention is set for Wednesday, April 19 to Friday, April 21, 2023 in Vancouver. The convention will be preceded by a full day of education workshops on Tuesday, April 18.

Deadline for submitting resolutions for consideration at the April convention is Friday, Feb. 3, 2023. All resolutions must be voted on by members at local union chapter meetings before being submitted to the union office.

HSA members who have specific issues that they want to raise at convention are encouraged to participate in their local chapter meeting to be called to propose and vote on forwarding resolutions to convention, and to elect delegates to represent HSA members at their worksite in voting on setting the policies and priorities for the union.

Delegates to the 2023 convention will also vote in an election for the union’s president for a two-year term. The union's president is elected in odd-numbered years.

The deadline for receipt of resolutions in the HSA office is midnight on Friday, February 3, 2023. Late resolutions will not be accepted.
