Anti Racism Workshop

Date:               March 29-30, 2023
Time:              9:00am to 4:30pm
Location:       Virtual via WebEx

How do health care and social services professionals begin to put a dent in the racial inequities that exist in our fields? Join us for a two-day anti-racism workshop and active learning session to explore how we can participate in anti-racist change in British Columbia's health care and social services systems. Build your understanding of what anti-racist health care is, how to create cultural safety for Indigenous and racialized patients and clients, and how to make meaningful change to your practice and the health care and social services systems.

This workshop is open to all HSA members who are interested in engaging in anti-racist change and are interested in learning about racial inequities within the health services sector and their impacts to client care and experience.
