BC Federation of Labour to hold conference for young workers

The B.C. Federation of Labour is pleased to announce its Young Workers Conference May 30 and June 1 at Camp Jubilee.
The conference is open to new and experienced young worker activists and is part of an action plan developed to encourage participation in the labour movement. The B.C. Federation of Labour is committed to identifying support and engaging more young people in the labour movement.
A number of workshops and seminars designed to prepare young workers to increase their participation within their unions and their communities will be offered. The workshop choices include:
- Advanced Leadership/Mentorship
- Organizing Young Workers
- Occupational Health and Safety
- Introduction to the Labour Movement
- Globalization
