BC Federation of Labour Young Workers' School at Camp Jubilee - Registration Now Open
Are you a young worker 30 years and younger who wants to get more involved in your union, the labour movement, and the social justice work unions are involved in?
Registration for the BC Federation of Labour’s Annual Young Workers’ School is now open. It is a weekend school held at Camp Jubilee in Indian Arm in the Lower Mainland. Participants will attend courses to help them build skills related to the labour movement, political and community organizing, and leadership skills.
In addition to coursework, attendees will be able to participate in a variety of outdoor activities and connect with other young workers from around the province.

Cost of the weekend is $375, which includes bus transportation from Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver, boat transport to Camp Jubilee, meals, courses, activities and accommodation. Deadline for registration is noon, Thursday, August 30th.
Financial support available for HSA members – deadline Aug. 17
HSA will support a limited number of HSA members to participate in the weekend school by covering travel to North Vancouver, and registration costs. If a member is required to miss a regularly scheduled shift at work to attend the school, HSA will cover lost wages.
