Derrick Hoyt acclaimed as Region 2 representative on HSA Board of Directors

Derrick Hoyt will return to represent HSA members in Region 2 on the HSA Board of Directors. Hoyt was acclaimed after the deadline passed with no further nominations.
A pathologist assistant, Hoyt has served on the Board of Directors since November 2013.
He has been active in HSA for more than 25 years and is currently a member of the union’s Education Committee. He also serves on the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee coordinating council for Island Health (IH), where the discussion is focused on a healthy workplace and the uniqueness of the people and resources at each worksite.
The two-year term expires at the conclusion of the 2022 HSA Convention.
