Education leave funds now closed

All funds remaining in the Education Leave Fund have been allocated, and no further applications are being accepted. All applicants to date will receive written confirmation regarding whether or not their application was successful. Applications were approved according to established criteria and granted according to the date received, subject to sufficient funds remaining.

The one million dollar Education Leave Fund, a provision of the 2001 - 2004 paramedical professional collective agreement, provided financial assistance to health science professionals to attend educational programs for professional advancement and career enhancement. This was one-time funding only.

The Education Leave Fund Committee thanks all applicants for their interest in this program, and wishes them well in their continuing education.
