Election to be held for Region 5 Director
During the next several weeks, HSA members in Region 5 will have an opportunity to elect their representative on HSAs Board of Directors.
Nominations for the position closed on January 27th with two members declaring their candidacy:
• Ramzan Anjum, a Medical Laboratory Technologist at BC Childrens Hospital in Vancouver; and
• Kimball Finigan, a Radiation Therapist at the Vancouver Cancer Centre (BCCA).
In the coming weeks, all members in Region 5 will receive an election package in the mail which includes candidate biographies, voting instructions, a ballot, and a return envelope to mail your completed ballot back to HSA.
Ballots must be received in the HSA office no later than: 5:00 pm on Friday, March 18.
The successful candidate will assume the position of Regional Director for a two-year term at the conclusion of HSAs 2011 annual convention.
