Five candidates declared in election for Region 5

Winner will serve as representative on HSA Board of Directors

During the next several weeks, HSA members in Region 5 will have an opportunity to elect their representative on HSA's Board of Directors.
Nominations for the position closed with five members declaring their candidacy:

• Ramzan Anjum, a medical laboratory technologist at BC Children's Hospital
• John Christopherson, a counsellor at the BC Cancer Agency
• Anithia Felix, a radiation therapist at the BC Cancer Agency
• Kimball Finigan, a radiation therapist at the BC Cancer Agency
• Sue Motty, a medical laboratory technologist at Canadian Blood Services

In the coming weeks, all members in Region 5 will receive an election package in the mail which includes candidate biographies, voting instructions, a ballot, and a return envelope to mail your completed ballot back to HSA.

Ballots must be received in the HSA office no later than: 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 28, 2013.

The successful candidate will assume the position of Regional Director for a two-year term at the conclusion of HSA's 2013 annual convention.
