Giddha re-elected to represent Region 7 members on HSA Board of Directors
Jas Giddha has been re-elected to serve a two-year term as a member of HSA’s Board of Directors, representing HSA members in Region 7 from several worksites, including Surrey Memorial, Peace Arch, Abbotsford, and Chilliwack Hospitals, and the Fraser Valley Centre for Child Development.
First elected to the Board of Directors in 2017, Giddha is a medical radiation technologist at Surrey Memorial Hospital, and has been involved in the union since 2012.
He has served as the chair for the union’s Political Action and Education committees, as well as the Committee on Equality and Social Action. In addition, he has been involved in the union’s Young Workers’ Advisory Group, the Resolutions and Elections committees, and serves as a steward and Constituency Liaison.
