Health Science Professionals tentative agreement details now available; town hall information meetings scheduled

Details of the tentative agreement between the Health Science Professionals Bargaining Association and Health Employers Association of BC reached last month are now available on the HSA website at www.hsabc.org.

The Report to Members on the Proposed Terms of Settlement details the changes to the agreement, and urges members to vote YES in favour of the agreement at ratification meetings starting January 31.

Telephone town hall information meetings for all members of HSA covered by the HSPBA collective agreement have been scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 26 starting at 7 p.m. PST.

To participate in the town hall meeting, simply answer the phone call from HSA President Reid Johnson, press # on your home phone and you will be connected to the meeting. Members will receive a briefing on the proposed agreement and have an opportunity to ask questions. The town halls are being presented on two nights for members convenience.

Members are encouraged to review the details of the agreement on the HSA website.

In addition, information booklets will be mailed to every member, and should be arriving at members homes the week of January 31, 2011.
