HSA calls on province to expand WorkSafe coverage

HSA is calling on the province to expand presumptive coverage to community social service and health care workers. Presumptive coverage means that when a mental health injury happens as a result of work, the worker is able to get workers' compensation without being forced to prove that work was the cause. Presumptive coverage eliminates some of the administrative and often stressful barriers an injured worker faces when filing a claim.
