HSPBA Classifications Update: Retro Pay and Green Circling

Today – Friday, February 28 – marks two important deadlines that are part of the transition to the profile-based classification system:

1. Retro Pay. If you are entitled to retro pay, today is the deadline for the employer to pay you. Please check your recent pay stubs to ensure that you were paid correctly.
   
   If you have not received your retro pay, or think the amount paid was incorrect, please check with payroll. If they cannot resolve the issue, please contact your steward and file a grievance.
    
2. Green Circling. Today, the employer is required to provide the union with a list of all green-circled employees. If you are green-circled but did not receive a formal notice from the employer on or before December 6, 2024, please notify the union so that we can ensure you are listed correctly.
