Jing-Yi Ng acclaimed as Region 3 representative on HSA Board of Directors

Jing-Yi Ng will represent HSA members in Region 3 on the HSA Board of Directors after the deadline for nominations passed with no further nominations.

A clinical pharmacist at Eagle Ridge Hospital, this is Ng’s second two-year term on the Board of Directors. She was appointed the union’s Secretary-Treasurer late last year and has served on several committees:

• Constitutional and Organizational Policy Committee,
• Elections Committee,
• Finance Committee,
• Political Action Committee,
• Presidential Issues Committee,
• Racial Justice Committee,
• HSPBA Bargaining Committee, and
• Executive Committee (Secretary-Treasurer).

Ng will begin the 2023-2025 term at the conclusion of the 2023 HSA Annual Convention, running April 19-21 in Vancouver.
