Kimball Finigan reelected as Region 5 director on HSA board

HSA members in Region 5 have re-elected Kimball Finigan to serve a fourth term as their representative on the union’s Board of Directors.  Finigan is a radiation therapist at the BC Cancer Agency in Vancouver.

Finigan first joined the union’s board of directors in 2007. He has served on the Finance and Resolutions Committee, as well as the Constitutional and Organizational Policy Committee (COPS and Committee for Equality and Social Action). He currently serves as chair of the COPS committee, and on the Presidential Issues Committee. Finigan has also been Chief Steward at the BCCA in Vancouver, and a Constituency Liaison in Vancouver-Mount Pleasant.

Other candidates for the board position were: Ranzam Anjum, a lab technologist at BC Women’s and Children’s Hospital; John Christopherson, a counselor at the BC Cancer Agency; Anithia Felix, a radiation therapist at the BC Cancer Agency; and Sue Motty, a lab technologist at Canadian Blood Services.
