National Day of Action for for First Nations

Join the National Day of Action June 29, 2007 in a march and rally.

March: 11 a.m. - Vanier Park to Library Square (begin assembling at 9:30 a.m. at the Coast Guard station by the Burrard Street Bridge.)

Rally: 12 noon at Library Square (300 West Georgia)

Elders, families and drivers are encouraged to follow the march as a caravan of vehicles. Paid parking is available in and around Libary Square.

The National Day of Action is a time for First Nations and Canadians to stand together in the spirit of unity to demand the federal government deal honourably with First Nations Title and Rights and to call for an end to First Nations poverty.
