National survey on violence and harassment in the workplace
The Canadian Labour Congress, in partnership with the Centre for Research and Education on Violence Against Women and Children at Western University and the University of Toronto, has launched a survey on violence and harassment in the workplace.
Violence and harassment in the workplace is a real, significant issue for HSA members working in the health and community social services sectors, and we encourage members to take the survey, and to encourage your colleagues to participate.
The results of the survey will help to highlight the amount of harassment and violence that occurs in workplaces, and will be helpful as we continue to demand protections for workers. The survey is directed to workers of every gender, whether or not they have experienced or witnessed workplace violence or harassment. It takes approximately 10 to 30 minutes to complete and participants will remain anonymous.
