REMINDER - HSA nurses eligible for college fee reimbursement: Details on how to apply to HSA by June 30, 2021

As part of the new Nurses Bargaining Association 2019-2022 collective agreement, HSA’s Registered Psychiatric Nurses and Registered Nurses are eligible for partial reimbursement of fees paid to the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

The rate of reimbursement has been set at $215 per member. Please be advised that the deadline for licence renewals with the BCCNM is Friday, February 26 at 4:30 p.m. You can make your payment online at www.bccnm.ca.
 
To claim for partial reimbursement of your fees, pay your college fees to the BCCNM and scan and send your receipt to @email. Please include your name, worksite, mailing address, and current personal email address. 

Receipts may also be mailed to HSA c/o College Fees, Health Sciences Association of BC, 180 East Columbia Street, New Westminster, BC, V3L 0G7, or faxed to HSA at 604.515.8889 or 1.800.663.6119.

Reimbursement will be by Direct Deposit and will be processed in the coming weeks upon proof of payment.  (Please see  authorization forms and info sheet below.)

Please note that if you are a member of both HSA and BCNU you may only make one (1) application for reimbursement through the Nurses Bargaining Association.

Deadline for submission of receipts to claim for partial reimbursement is June 30, 2021.
