Sanche elected to represent HSA Region 9 on Board of Directors

HSA members have elected Gina Sanche to serve a two-year term on the union’s board of directors representing Region 9, which includes worksites in the Kootenays. 

A sonographer at Kootenay Lake Hospital, Sanche served as lead steward at her chapter for the last eight years, represented members at the union’s annual conventions and at bargaining conferences, and, as a Member-at-Large, served on the Resolutions Committee. 

Sanche will join the Board of Directors on adjournment of the 2025 HSA annual convention Friday, April 11. 

Voting was conducted online between December 9, 2024 and January 5, 2025.
