After years of fighting for a $15/hr minimum wage in BC, we are getting closer. People across BC did the hard work necessary to put a $15/hr minimum wage on the agenda. But there is one more step to end poverty wages in BC.
The Fair Wages Commission will set the schedule for a $15/hr minimum wage. Low-wage workers are already struggling to pay rent, feed their families and pay their bills. We need to send message to the Fair Wages Commission that workers in BC can’t wait for a raise.
