Tentative agreement telephone town hall information meetings set

Following last week’s signing of a tentative agreement for a renewed collective agreement for all nurses in BC’s public health care system, HSA will hold two telephone town hall meetings to provide members with information about the terms of the tentative agreement.

All HSA RPNs are invited to join telephone town hall meetings set for tomorrow, Thursday, April 14, from noon to 1 p.m. or alternatively from 6-7 p.m.  Members will receive a telephone notice of the meeting today. To join the meeting Thursday, simply answer your phone and you will be connected to the meeting.

Information meetings are also being planned for various sites. Watch your email inbox for information as those meetings are finalized.

All members have an opportunity to vote on the proposed contract by a combination of mail-in and in-person balloting.

Voting packages will be distributed next week by mail, and ballots must be returned to the HSA office by May 6, 2016.

In-person voting will be available at worksites during information meetings.
