Thomson elected to represent Region 4 members on HSA Board of Directors
HSA members have elected Alexandra Thomson to serve a two-year term on the union’s board of directors representing Region 4, which includes a number of worksites in the Lower Mainland including Vancouver, UBC, and Richmond Hospitals, GF Strong, and Dogwood Lodge.
A neurophysiology technologist at Vancouver General Hospital, Thomson has been active in the union and served in various union roles: Assistant Chief Steward, Member-at-Large, Core Member Engager, Bargaining Prioritization Committee member, and as a VGH Chapter delegate for Convention and Regional Meetings.
Thomson will join the Board of Directors on adjournment of the 2022 HSA annual convention Saturday, April 30. Voting was conducted online between March 12 and 27, 2022.
