Three candidates running for Regional Director in Region 6

During the next several weeks, HSA members in Region 6 will have an opportunity to elect a new representative on HSAs Board of Directors. Current Region 6 Director, Rachel Tutte, is stepping down after serving 2 terms.

Nominations for the position closed on February 1st with three members declaring their candidacy:
 

• Anita Bardal, a Medical Radiation Technologist at St. Pauls Hospital in Vancouver

• James Lyons, a Medical Radiation Technologist at Mount St. Joseph Hospital in Vancouver, and

• Mo Norton, a Program Support Clerk at North Shore Community Health Services in     North Vancouver.

In the coming weeks, all members in Region 6 will receive an election package in the mail which includes candidate biographies, voting instructions, a ballot, and a return envelope.

The successful candidate will assume the position of Regional Director for a two-year term at the conclusion of HSAs 2010 annual convention.
