Tour for the Cure arrives in Port Alberni
HSA members are invited to attend the official opening for the TELUS Tour for the Cure in Port Alberni on Wednesday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at the Alberni Mall.
The TELUS Tour for the Cure is an informative and interactive exhibit that will travel to communities across British Columbia over the next eight months to promote the value and importance of breast health and mammography screening. The Tour is part of a campaign by the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation to help women detect smaller tumors earlier.
The tour exhibit includes several panels that address a number of themes related to breast health. HSA is the official sponsor of the mammography panel.
All HSA members in the Port Alberni area are encouraged to visit the display on the following days:
