Union members invited to participate in Pride Week events
Union members interested in participating in Vancouvers Pride Week events this year are encouraged to join to Multi-Union Pride events.
Saturday, Aug. 5: Dyke March
Meet the Labour Dyke contingent, which is gathering at 11:30 a.m. at McSpadden Park at 4th Avenue and Victoria Drive. At 12 noon the Dyke March will proceed from McSpadden Park to Grandview Park on Commercial Drive. Information: Mable Elmore 604.783.5171.
Sunday, Aug. 6: Pride Parade
Union members will participate in the parade, which gathers at 11 a.m. at Cardero and Robson for the parade to Sunset Beach. Meet the Multi-Union Pride Contingent at Section 82 of the parade. Wear your pride on your sleeve
HSAs Committee for Equality and Social Action has produced pride stickers for members wishing to participate. HSA parade flags are also available. For information: Pam Bush or Miriam Sobrino 604.439.0994
