Upcoming caucus meetings for HSA members from equity-denied groups
Caucuses are spaces for members from equity-denied groups to connect with other members with similar lived experience and identities to build solidarity and share knowledge and resources. There are three upcoming caucus meetings in September:
2SLGBTQIA+ Members Caucus Meeting | September 7
All HSA members who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ are invited to attend the next meeting of HSA’s 2SLGBTQIA+ Members Caucus, which will be held virtually on Thursday September 7 from 12-1pm. Please RSVP here by Monday, September 4th. Once registered you will be emailed the WebEx link to attend the virtual meeting. A $15 honorarium will be provided to members who attend.
This meeting will be an open session for members to connect and discuss relevant issues.
This meeting will be member-led and supported by HSA’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Specialist, Chrissy Taylor (they/them). We recognize that members may use terms other than 2SLGBTQIA+ to describe their identity and we welcome your thoughts on terminology for the caucus.
Gender Diverse Members Caucus Meeting | September 12
All HSA members who identify as Two-Spirit, trans, and/or gender diverse are invited to attend the next meeting of HSA’s Gender Diverse Caucus, which will be held virtually on Tuesday, September 12 from 12-1pm. Please RSVP here by Monday, September 4th. Once registered you will be emailed the WebEx link to attend the virtual meeting. A $15 honorarium will be provided to members who attend.

All HSA members who identify as living with a disability and/or disabled are invited to attend the next meeting of HSA's Members with Disabilities Caucus, which will be held virtually on Wednesday, September 13 from 12-1pm . Please RSVP here by Monday, September 4th. Once registered you will be emailed the WebEx link to attend the virtual meeting. A $15 honorarium will be provided to members who attend.
