Nominations Open for HSA Trial Committee

Nominations are now open for seven (7) members to sit on the HSA Trial Committee. Elections for all seven (7) positions are held during the Annual Convention, on Friday, April 17.

HSA's Trial Committee plays an integral role in the union's internal dispute resolution process. 

To be eligible to run for the Trial Committee, a candidate must have been a member of HSA for at least one year immediately prior to election and be in good standing.

Either a verbal or written nomination shall be accepted. A member does not need to be a convention delegate to be nominated provided they have submitted a written expression of their intention to run. However, only convention delegates will be eligible to vote.

Interested members attending Convention can declare their nomination in person when the call for nominations happens.

Nominees not attending convention, please email info@hsabc.org with your name, chapter, and a candidate statement no more than 200 words by 5:00 PM Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

For nominees not in attendance, your candidate statement will be read aloud for delegates. Candidate attending convention will have the opportunity to make a brief statement to delegates.
