As the provincial government prepares for the final sessions of its -Conversation on Health" this weekend in Vancouver, participants from 14 of the public forums held across the province during the past six months joined with the BC Health Coalition to deliver a clear message today.

National Day of Action for for First Nations

Join the National Day of Action June 29, 2007 in a march and rally.
March: 11 a.m. - Vanier Park to Library Square (begin assembling at 9:30 a.m. at the Coast Guard station by the Burrard Street Bridge.)
Rally: 12 noon at Library Square (300 West Georgia)
Elders, families and drivers are encouraged to follow the march as a caravan of vehicles. Paid parking is available in and around Libary Square.

Private diagnostic services clinic staff in Lower Mainland and Victoria join HSA

Health Sciences Association of B.C. is pleased to welcome new members, employees of CML HeatlhCare, to the union of caring professionals.
HSA has represented staff at CML HealthCare, a private company that provides medical diagnostic imaging services to the public, in Victoria since 2003. Employees at four additional CML HealthCare clinics in Victoria and the Lower Mainland voted to join the union early this year, but the results of the vote were not known until yesterday.
